Tithi: Kartika, Krishna Ashtami
Begins: 12:24 PM, Oct 13
Ends: 11:09 AM, Oct 14
Today marked the sacred observance of Kalashtami, a day deeply devoted to Lord Bhairava, the fierce and benevolent form of Lord Shiva. Falling on the Ashtami tithi of Krishna Paksha, Kalashtami holds immense significance for devotees who seek strength, protection, and liberation from fear and negativity.
On this auspicious occasion, a special puja of Shri Batuk Mahabhairav Baba was performed with complete devotion and traditional Vedic rituals. The worship was conducted in Panchaupachara form — offering Gandha (sandal paste), Pushpa (flowers), Dhoopa (incense), Deepa (lamp), and Naivedya (food offering).
A highlight of today’s ritual was the purification and energization of the sacred Rudraksha mala, symbolizing inner strength and divine connection. Through mantra japa and sanctified offerings, the mala was charged with the blessings of Mahabhairav Baba, intended to protect the devotee from negative influences and guide them on the path of spiritual awakening.
The vibrations during the puja were deeply powerful — the air filled with the chants of
Om Batuk Bhairavaya namah 🙏
